Prior to offering all-in-one saddlebag systems that suit a range of needs for both packers & daytime trail riders, TrailMAX began by focusing on the basic components that have been used for decades, and innovating them to higher standards with higher-strength material & seams, superior weather resistance, protective padding & insulation, and a variety of colors that appeal to units of mounted officers and backcountry horsemen alike.

TrailMAX’s Daytripper Cantlebag follows our “Simply Better by Design” tradition, made with the same double-stitched, inner-coated 1,000 denier nylon that resists rips & tears, and effectively protects the items inside against moisture from rain, sleet, or snow - especially when combined with the high-density foam padding. Brass grommets mount the bag behind the saddle’s cantle, and the two adjustable straps which attach to saddle dees or even up to the front rigging add stability, eliminating load shift. As with all TrailMax products, all stress points are reinforced with double stitching and nylon webbing.

With 820 in3 (relatively 3 5/9 gallons) of storage space to offer, meals, first aid and rain gear for a day on the trail are no problem to pack. Trail & fence builders will also find the Daytripper Cantlebag an ideal place to store & protect tools without worry of damage or loss.
