Cordura saddlebags are common, and there is definitely a need for waterproof and insulated saddle bags. However, the traditional look of leather is well loved and will always have its place. We have three options available; all are of the highest quality in the industry. We do recommend applying a light coat of Ray Holes Saddle Butter to any of the pack bags below; they will remain pliable and shed water like a duck’s back.

So, I decided that should be one of the first products we should build, and like the originals, should be built to last a lifetime. Using the attention to detail that was used 100 years ago, we designed a two-buckle (3/4-size) and a three-buckle (full size) Cavalry saddlebag.
The Two-Buckle Cavalry Saddlebag measures 8″ High x 10″ Wide with a 3″ gusset.
The Three-Buckle Cavalry Saddlebag measures 11″ High x 12″ Wide, with a 3″ gusset.
Today, we still choose the best 6-7 ounce burgundy latigo leather and brass hardware available. We stamp our name onto the bags because we are proud of the quality and tradition that these bags represent.
